Party Houses in the East of England

The East of England has something to offer everyone. Whether you are looking for the joys of interesting cities such as Cambridge or Norwich, or fabulous beaches and countryside, it has it all. So book your Party House and use it as a base to enjoy some of the local delights! Find below some venues in the area or take a look at all of the venues that we offer

There are some beautiful cathedral cities to visit in East Anglia such as Norwich, Cambridge, and Lincoln. All offer a wealth of historical buildings and history, a wide range of individual shops, plus museums and galleries. They also offer a wide range of restaurants and pubs to relax after all that sightseeing! For less well-visited places, do go to Ely for its cathedral, Saffron Walden for its galleries, hidden garden, and general charm, Bury St Edmonds for its heritage, Woodhall Spa for the Dambusters connections, or Colchester for its Roman history.

If you hanker after beautiful beaches whilst staying at your large group accommodation in East England, the east coast has legendary beaches, or for more, take a look at our beach Party Houses. Much of the Norfolk, Lincolnshire, and Suffolk coasts have miles of sandy beaches. For family fun, visit seaside towns like Skegness, Clacton, or Great Yarmouth. For coastal wildlife watching, the North Norfolk coast has RSPB reserves and large seal colonies. You may be surprised to hear that Essex has amazing inlets and claims the longest coastline of any English county!

The waterways of the Norfolk Broads are a must-see - hire a boat or visit one of the nature reserves. And don’t believe all of East England is flat! Yes, the Fens have miles of uninterrupted sky, but the Lincolnshire Wolds have beautiful gentle hills. The waterways around Constable Country and Malden make for great walks with views. Within the countryside are some nationally famous gardens, including RHS Hyde Hall, The Cambridge Botanical Gardens, Anglesey Abbey, Bressingham Beth Chatto’s gardens, and East Ruston Old Vicarage. Hiring out one of our Norfolk cottages to rent means you can spend time discovering these beautiful places.

Stately homes abound in this stunning area of the county. During your stay at one of our holiday cottages in East of England, you can visit the very grand such as Sandringham, the Queens Norfolk residence, Audley End, or Somerleyton Hall. Alternatively, there are smaller gems, which are equally interesting. Try Gainsborough’s House in Sudbury or Ickworth house in Bury St Edmonds; we have a number of cottages to rent in the area! Rent out our lodges in Norfolk or holiday cottages in Suffolk to discover more about this area of natural beauty!
