Choose your date (NB the more flexibility you have the better!) as soon as possible
Sound out your guests
Firm up date
Choose & Book your Party House
Firm up your Invitation List (include some reserve guests) as soon as venue booked
If you want a themed party now is the time to choose a theme!
Design and print or email Invitations (remember to include a RSVP Date) as soon as venue is booked
Book caterer as early as possible
Chase up invitees who have not responded within a week of RSVP date
If required invite reserve guests within 2 weeks of RSVP date
Book other suppliers eg Venue Dresser, Spa Treatments, etc preferably 6 weeks before
Book any other activities eg Alton Towers, Cycle hire, etc preferably 6 weeks before
Check out public transport options and book cheap train tickets 6 weeks before
Consider all guest requirements eg chidren (if you have any guests with accessibility or other special requirements call Party Houses for the free loan of ramps, shower stools, Deafguards, etc) preferably a month before
Plan and buy your party outfits, change your mind, start again – Ongoing!
Decide on your drinks and pre order at least 2 weeks before
Plan your meals for the whole break – book pubs etc at least 2 weeks before
Book farmers’ market/supermarket delivery if ordering food direct preferably 2 weeks before
Ensure all your guests have directions to your Party House 2 weeks before
Ensure all guests have time of arrival and any other information 2 weeks before
Book any cabs you may want 2 weeks before
Call Party Houses to get key code and discuss any requests you have 2 weeks before
Plan any Party Games and buy prizes about 2 weeks before
Ensure your camera is working, batteries charged and packed – Final week
Check if there is anything you need to take with you (eg cot linen, first aid essentials) – Final week
Get really excited – Final week
Travel carefully and have a great time!
