Goldfinch Lakeside Manor for 24-27 guests

Grade II listed, this Georgian house dates back to 1827 and sits nestled among 5000 acres of parkland. The house comes with iconic pillars and beautiful antique furniture that add a special touch to the experience. To top it all off, this regal manor is equipped with a hot tub and games room, ensuring both a relaxing and entertaining stay.

 Once the hunting abode of Sir Philip Brocklehurst, Roaches Hall is situated in the most breathtaking of locations. Nestled beneath the famous Roaches Rocks of the Peak District, this venue shares the grand, historic charm of a castle. Roaches Hall boasts one of the most fascinating histories, having once served as an outpost for the London Zoo!

Greenwood Manor for 44 guests

With beautiful surroundings, expansive lawns, and private gardens, Greenwood Estate offers a similar sense of seclusion and privacy one might hope for when renting a castle. The estate features multiple accommodations, a swimming pool, and a hot tub. Moreover, Greenwood Estate is a licensed wedding venue, making it an ideal spot for those hoping to plan a wedding weekend away.

Hamps Hall and Barn for 40 guests

Hamps Hall and Barn is a fantastically versatile venue that offers a stunning blend of modern comfort and historic charm. This venue is fantastic for large events, such as birthday parties, corporate retreats, weddings, and family reunions. This is because Hamps is a corkage-free, fully-customizable venue. This means you can dress it up to look like a castle! The property includes a large field, which can be used for a marquee with prior arrangement.

Tenby Manor for 34 guests

Tenby Manor may not be a traditional castle, but you’ll feel like royalty with your own private beach. The house offers a modern, luxurious atmosphere, complemented by gorgeous antique furniture. The house is pet-friendly, licensed for weddings, and offers a truly magical place to unwind with the sounds of the sea nearby. Those who prefer a little action will find all they need in Windermere, the heart of the Lake District, where we find the Brockhole on Windermere, an adventure park offering everything from tree-top trekking to tasty treats. Whether your ideal time is a secluded peak or a fun-fuelled day kayaking on pristine lakes, you’ll find yourself becoming one with the immaculate beauty of this district.

The Lake District | Romance and literature

If you’re not yet convinced by the glimmering lakes and rolling green hills, turn your attention to the district’s rich literary history. Home to the likes of William Wordsworth and Beatrix Potter, the Lake District has served as an inspiration for artistry through the ages. A trip to Grasmere grants you the rare opportunity to visit the famous Dove Cottage, home to Wordsworth from 1799 to 1808. The cottage serves as a museum, displaying original texts and sketches by one of England’s most famous romantic poets.

Just like Tamlin’s manor, the grand Goldfinch Lakeside Manor is nestled amongst lush gardens, veiled in ivy. With beautiful black and white marble floors, sweeping staircases, extensive grounds, and cosy reading nooks, the grade II listed Georgian house is a living embodiment of the manor where Feyre’s journey into the Prythian Fae world started. 

The grounds of this outstanding estate offer guests plenty of privacy, along with outstanding views of refreshing greenery – not to mention the Serpentine lake that sprawls out in front of the house, get ready to do your best “lounging around all day” impression. It is also said that this area boasts the cleanest air in England, so fill your lungs as you prepare for a weekend getaway of pure relaxation and reading.
