Wincle Brewery is an award winning brewery that is known for creating delicious high quality English Ales. They are even offering to teach you and your mates how to brew beer yourself, so if that’s something that has always been on your bucket list, don’t hesitate to give them a call!
Alternatively, if you’d rather skip the brewing part and skip right to the point, they can organise for you to have a keg of ale waiting at your Party House upon arrival!
Gin & Whisky Tastings with Distilled Events
Enjoy a fun and informative evening of gin tasting or whisky tasting with David Wood from Distilled Events at any of our venues. David spent many years managing one of the largest distilleries in Scotland and so his tasting events are authentic having worked for so long at the coal face of spirit production. Whether it be a gin tasting or a whisky tasting, David will present 6 drinks and talk guests through the history of the product and how it makes the amazing journey from field to glass.
David can tailor make the tasting event to suit your occasion, whether it be a gin tasting for a small group or for a rare whisky tasting for 40 people. The Bartender at Home
Since being established in 2005, The Bartender at Home has been providing great cocktails to parties and events all around the UK. Their aim is not only to share the knowledge or their charismatic mixologists with your party, but to entertain with drinks and leave you not with a hangover, but with a memorable weekend! They offer three main packages; the all-inclusive package, perfect for pre-going out drinks, the Cocktail Clinic, a two hour fun training session to teach you all about the secrets of cocktail making and finally, ‘Cocktail Chemistry’ teaching you how to manipulate liquids into solids with an exciting workshop that will take your cocktail game to a whole new level. The prices of these unique cocktail events start from just £30 per person.
Stitch before you hitch! Party Pants specialise in highly entertaining and unique knicker decorating hen party workshops.
Mobile Workshop: Party Pants is a mobile workshop. Our workshops are run by one of our lovely knicker decorating experts, who we call our ‘Chief Briefs’.
All Materials Provided: One of our Chief Briefs will arrive at your hen party with all the materials you will need. This includes a wide selection of pretty ribbons, silk flowers, frilly lace, sewing machines and knickers in a variety of shapes for all rears. We will also provide a garter for the bride to glam up that she can wear on her wedding day. After a quick demo, the party can get started. A member of our Chief Brief Brigade will be on hand to ensure no one gets their knickers in a twist!
Say Cheese: A photo shoot of all the creations rounds up the class. The best pair of pants goes to the bride to wear on her wedding day!
Break The Ice: Everyone can get to know each other whist having a clucking great time in an entertaining environment free from any inhibition. These parties are particularly successful for hens of all ages (from younger sisters to the bride’s granny).
Stir up your stay at your Party House with the Go-Experience! You can choose from a whole range of activities such as Cocktail Making, Homeparty Dance Classes, and Making your own home pop-video. Perfect for hen and stag and dos, team-building events, and everyone else who want to make their stay incredibly fun and keep a memorabilia of it too! Offering entertainment nation-wide, the Go-Experience team will gladly travel to your Party House and organise a tailored activity for you.
Crafts and Giggles
If you fancy making a fascinator, glass or pottery painting, making bunting, jewellery or even decorating knickers(!) . As the name suggests they arrive at Party Houses with full materials, equipment and an attitude of having fun! They have ideas uitable for hen parties, all adults, children or corporate team building.
Chocolate Making Workshops
Learn the art of chocolate making with Bev of Buxton’s famous Charlottes Chocoloates. You will cover things like tempering, making ganache, piping, finishing, decoration and packaging. Plus, you get to keep whatever you make!
Celebrate in style and enjoy a session making and creating fabric creations of your choice; followed by afternoon tea and cake at Betty’s Sewing Box in Ashbourne. Maximum 12 participants. Workshop options include –
Making Bunting: to decorate your home or special event
Make a Memory Banner or Collage: using words and pictures to create a special wall hanging to remember your weekend away
Create a Corsage: make a pretty broach to take home

Celebrate your party weekend by creating something beautiful and unique at Manifold Craft Barn! They have a large range of pottery shapes to paint and a big selection of decopatch shapes to decorate with pretty tissue papers. Transport and buffet lunch packages arranged on request.
