There’s plenty of good food to go around, whether you feel like a mean stake, a tasty lasagne, or a traditional pie. To top it all off, the restaurant is pet-friendly so you won’t have to leave your dog outside.
Another wonderful option is The Ship-In in Wincle near Macclesfield, which as well always comes with great recommendations from our guests. This newly renovated restaurant boasts with long experience of cooking Indian cuisine. Whether you want a big meal for yourself or prefer a tapas approach to sharing food, you’ll be able to find the different menu dishes and options online. And if you don’t really feel like living the comfort of your Party House, you can simply have the food delivered.
If you’re looking for a traditional local pub to watch a game or enjoy a nice pub game night, the Dyer Arms is the way to go. Located in Waterfall is the “talk of the town”, The Red Lion. This cosy local pub offers great food, a selection of beers on tap and above all, an excellent service. As The Peak District is known for its hospitality, you won’t have to worry about leaving your dog outside as it’ll be welcomed to sit right next to you and your table. Furthermore, you can find their menu online and choose your favourite dish before you even get there.
Second, The Jervis Arms is recently renovated local pub offering great courses and dishes for affordable prices, which you check out beforehand online. They also host event nights with jazz and blues music and a wonderful selection of locally brewed casks and craft ales.
Finally, The Yew Tree Inn is a traditional English country pub, which has been run by a local family for decades. They enjoy providing their guests with quality ales and spirits with good homemade food, including the highly recommended pork pies. There’s also a designated section for children. The friendliness of the staff will have you come back again and again.
