A wonderful National Trust house with a famous deer park and, now, a newly created Winter Garden. From the late 1600's a Deer Park was established and in the ensung 100 years over 100,000 tress were planted. These frame the formal avenues that fan out accross the park. If you visit in the autumn you may see (and hear!) the deer rutting. Go in late winter/early spring to see the multitued of spring bulbs and wintr plants.
