There are lots of opportunities to take part in sporting activities locally. We literally have everything from A - Z (Aqua sports to Zorbing). Ok - not a great pun but you should find something for everyone within easy reach!
We welcome golfing groups and there are lots of courses to choose from!
There is a choice of course and fly fishing locally
Whether you wish to gentle try out one of the many gentle cycle trails (made from disused railway lines) or go for the full on mountain biking experience - the Peak District has many options
Considered so wonderful - the Peak District was the first place in the UK to be made into a National Park and the sire of the Kinder Mass Trespass to gain ramblers rights - what more is there to say to walkers?
Within half an hour we have Waterworld (the largest such water park in the UK) plus other places to swim
If you prefer to enjoy the water from above, a range of boating, canoeing, etc is on offer
If you like your sport a little more extreme there are lots of options too!
