Invitations

Perhaps the most fun bit at the start of your planning if you are creative.
If you are handing out or posting invites there are no rules that say they have to be produced on paper.  Why not give out balloons (inflated or not) with your invite on, or cut up a map of the Peak District and use that as a background, if you are poetic or musical, write a ditty and record it .  Just have fun!
 
Don't forget to ensure your invitations have the following details:-
Whats the Occassion?
When?
Where?
Theme/Requirements?
Who is the invite from?
RSVP - By Date, to Name, Email, Phone Number

We have discovered that Waitrose have some invite templates that you can personalise and then use to automatically email to your guests.  There a choice of photos and styles (although most of the pictures are of food, there are some other interesting photos) and they are free of charge!  
 
First you choose your category (party/celebration etc)
Then you choose from one of 8 different invite styles for that event
Finally you add in your own personalisation and guest list and hey presto!
